Your own network is arguably as important as, or more important than, the skills you have.

Think about this for a second, if you are the best coder in the world but inside your company no one trusts you, listens to you, or you fail to know where to go for an approval or support how successful will you really be?

It’s important to build lasting relationships and your own network in the workplace. Spend at least as much time doing this, as developing your skills.
