Thinking about culture, and specifically remote work we can see in the data that remote workers and more or less engaged the same as office based workers. We also see they are as loyal, as productive, as happy, as connected etc etc.
But the big takeaway is not that remote work is better or worse than a fixed location role. The big takeaway is that it is important to treat people as individuals and empower them to make a choice and take control over how they work.
The data doesn’t lie. When companies mandate either / or we see engagement and results fall off the side of the cliff.
