Nodding heads around a meeting table doesn’t mean alignment

Rather it may mean agreement. Agreement with a decision.

People agree because they don’t want to speak up, challenge, or raise a different idea. (Or they can’t).

It doesn’t mean they align with what was said. That’s an important difference – once which can dramatically change your results.
