Granting Permission

People want to work in an environment which is safe, and they enjoy coming to the office or the factory floor. Everyone participates and people take the chance to learn from their mistakes. As people talk with one another, mistakes are in fact celebrated, and the learnings from them are shared around the company: ensuring the same mistakes are not made again. This gives everyone a spring in their step, and they have permission to try things, to go big and go bold. As they bounce ideas off of each other and talk things through, openly sharing their feedback and thoughts, the ideas get stronger and with each iteration they are more likely to succeed.
