Honesty & Speaking Up

Yesterday, we saw how Bridgewater Associates fostered radical transparency. Today, Pixar Animation Studios is our case study.

They too are building a culture of honesty and encouraging colleagues to speak up. Through daily “crit sessions” teams are expected to comment and feedback on the work of their peers.

The purpose of such openness is to improve their products. That’s how some of their greatest movies have been generated.
